# Piper Quick Start Guide: Sign In and Get Access

> Accept your Piper invitation, sign in with Google or Microsoft, and grant the permissions Piper needs to join and process your calls.

Piper is your AI meeting assistant. Once you're set up, every call gets recorded, transcribed, and turned into structured notes, a performance scorecard, and CRM updates — automatically.

## Step 1: Get Access to Piper

  <Step title="Find your invitation">
    You'll receive an invitation email from **Piper Team** with the subject **"Welcome to Piper"**. Open it and click **Enter Piper**.

  <Step title="Sign in">
    You'll be redirected to sign in with your work **Google** or **Microsoft** account — no separate password to create. Review and accept the terms of use and privacy policy, then click **Continue**.

  <Step title="Grant permissions">
    Piper will ask for calendar access so it can find and join your meetings, plus optional email access if you plan to use features like [Email search](/agents/building-agents). Review the requested permissions and click **Continue**.

  <Step title="You're in">
    You'll be redirected straight into Piper — no further action needed.
