Most Piper users only ever have one workspace. But if your email address is registered as a user on more than one separate Piper account — for example, two different companies you work with have each added you to their own Piper team — Piper automatically links those accounts together as workspaces you can switch between without logging out. Some companies also use separate workspaces deliberately to keep sensitive teams siloed — for example, running HR, legal, or leadership calls through their own Piper account so those recordings and notes are only visible to the people added to that workspace, not the rest of the company.

Default vs. Other Workspaces

One of your linked workspaces is your default workspace. This is the one:
  • The recording bot uses — bots are only ever scheduled from your default workspace’s calendar, not from any other workspace you’re linked to.
  • Piper treats as your “home” account for day-to-day use.
You can see all your workspaces under Settings → Account, with your default one marked. To change which workspace is your default, contact Piper support.

Switching Workspaces

Click Workspaces in the sidebar to see every workspace linked to your email. Select one to switch into it instantly — no separate login required.

What’s Different Outside Your Default Workspace

While you’re working in a workspace that isn’t your default, a few things are unavailable: Switch back to your default workspace to get full access to these again.
